after getting the wrong one, finding ford built the 2-3 accumilator piston assembly dumb, and rebuiilding it with parts we made, bolding it all up and looking realisisng I didnt connect something, getting a ratchet in the eye, and reaking of atf still....IT KICKS ASS!

I love it, I just won a tranny cooler on ebay for 10 bucks so hell, i'm looking good now.

I beg to differ to that, I beat a 12 second one last time I went to the track. He broke his ring and pinion at the line from launching so hard, got about 3 feet. I think that qualifies as beating a Trans Am...not my fault he broke. :p :D

In my defense, I've personnally seen him run a 12.01, and I knew I was gonna get my ass kicked, but he never passed the finish line. That's a win in anyone's book.

Cars are like works of art... and opinions vary on what is attractive & what isn't.

The difference with cars is that you are FORCED to look at them by paying attention to the road. If you don't like Jackson Pollock's paintings, then you never have to go see them... but if you don't like Azteks, RAV4s, CRVs and IS300s well you really have no choice. You are forced to look at something that makes your wanker crawl into a hole and never come out again. Its the equivalent of visual terrorism. In fact, I'll take a leap here and say that some car designers are a-holes and create ugly cars on purpose! They get their jollies from visually terorrizing helpless victims!

Mechanically speaking, its very different! I really enjoy the diversity of methods the engineers use to achieve their goals. Rotary engines, 9K redlines, cast-iron suspensions, stainless steel components. Uner those ugly bodies are some cool parts!
