This is the Initial D kit that I had for a while and finally decided to finish up
Not sure if I'm going to go with the theme...I might paint it another color.
So far I broke the headlight while polishing it....does anyone have a spare? The other spare that comes with the kit is too narrow and it's useless.
Going to make the grill for the front...making it out of the center panel

Wider lip...improves the look of the wheel so much

If I may offer a suggestion, cut out the broken head light, and make it look like some one installed a home made ram air in place of the head light.

Jaymes, I just noticed you needed another headlight, i'll check my stash and see if I have something you can use....you used the headlight glass that goes all the way across and has the "silvia" grill in the center? Let me know and tonight I'll check to see if I have an extra of that I could send you(provided you are in the US)

The sileighty is a Fujimi kit from their Initial D series. I don't know what a 280sx HB is...sorry
The wheel was widened using a tutorial around here somewhere. You take a thin sheet of styrene and wrap it around the rim. I used tape to secure it and put the tire over it. Pretty simple :)
as for progress updates, I'm repairing the crappy sideskirt I tried to make when I first had it (I don't know why I did this) and changing it back to stock.

sorry about that it's 180SX not 280SX the 280ZX is the right term for the first 300ZX wich was a Datson(280ZX). the Car that i'm looking for is the 180SX HB here are some images of that car:

oh... luckily those kits are common. Fujimi and Tamiya both make them. Neither one looks accurate in the back though, and the Tamiya one is kinda hard to find. I saw one in the classified section though so check it out. Those are also called 240sx
