engine light blinks 10 times

I have a 2001 voyager. I had the computer,(BCM) both oxygen sensor and map sensor replaced reciently. After which the van would rough idle on pulling off and then work fine. The engine light would blink 10 times when the ignition is turned on but not started. I had the catalyc converter replaced which seemed to solved the problem but it just started popping again.
Does anyone know what this means or have ever experienced this?

Just now out of the blue, the car refuses to start. Got a code of P0118
I have never seen this many problems with a car. I think the computer is the culprit.

Code 0118 is the coolant temperature sensor input is above maximum acceptable voltage. i do not know why she will not run with this code, but you may wish to go to Auto Zone and get here coded (free) or replace the collant temperature sensor.

Turns out it wasn't the sensor but wiring. Battery acid seems to have leaked at some point and burned and fused some of the wires. That might explain why it would react so wierd in the rain. However, I still get that 10 blinks in ignition mode.

I am lost.

Updates,

The engine light seems to have stopped blinking but I have been dealing with a hesitating problem.

Rough idleing when stopped.mechanic seems to think that the alternator is also causing sensors to go haywire.

I took it to sears and did the zoom treatment and that did wonders for the car. The hesitation is rare and hardly noticible. I get it very lightly on slow acceleration and you have to look for it.

However, while driving just now the airbag light came on for a few seconds and went back off.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Thanks

When it rains it poors for some. It's a good bet your airbag light could be the "clockspring" in the steering wheel, especially if the light is coming on while turning and/or your horn and cruise control die. It's a spool of wire that extends and retracts as you turn the wheel. There is a safety recall on some model years. Not sure if it applies to your van. Check Alldata.com or the NHTSA website. There are many threads on the forum on the subject.

Was your "Zoom" treatment a fuel injector cleaning?

Thanks. I'll look around.

The zoom treatment was for the injectors but it also removed a lot of carbon buildup from the enfine. They put a long hose on the muffler and a lot of dust and carbon came out. It only cost $85 after taxes and the improvement was remarkable. There also seemed to be something coming ou from the engine end also.
