Nope but its the more then likey item, it can also be the solid state relay, or and open circuit, or even a problem with the PCM.
Here is what to do.
First disconnect:
solid state relay, PCM, the electric air pump.
Measure resistence of EAIR monitor circuit between PCM harness and electric air pump harness connector.
Is resistence less the 5ohms?
Yes:goto next step.
No: repair open circuit
Measure resistence of electric air pump.
Is resistence between 0.5 - 5.0 ohms?
Yes:goto next step.
No, replace air pump.
Check EAIR monitor circuit for short to power in harness.
Key on engine off, Measure voltage between PCM connector and ground.
Is the voltage greater then 10.5 volts?
Yes:repair short
No: circuit is ok, goto next step.
Check solid state relay output.
Reconnect all that was disconnected,
Key on engine off enter output test mode " with your scan tool LOL"
Access AIR PID
Access AIRM PID
Compair AIR and AIRM PID
Were they both on?
Yes: replace solid state relay
No: Replace PCM
is that the only thing it could be?
