I was on this site I found today, and it is one of the sweetest car sites I have come across to date...

http://www.spykercars.nl/home.htm

The spyker Spider, is PHUCKIN' INSANE !!!! but thats my opinion.
Check this site out, I guess these cars are custom made in (HOLAND). I didn't know those guys over there made cars.
But I guess its true what they say, You do learn something new every day,

Thanks for listening,
Brian

I am familliar with spyker. I enquired about the spyker, but I think it looks too complex for me, but I love the chrome air intakes. they are a very respected brand to some people, their planes are excellent... Never got to fly one though.

Hi!
Spyker was among the first Dutch carmakers and probably the first one to be internationally recognized during the early 1900s. 4wd racers, Rolls-like luxury models etc.
Fast forward a few decades and a Dutch guy, named De Bruijn built an intriguing sportscar called the Silvestris. A local car collector and businessmann stepped in provided the necessary cash and renamed the car to Spyker in order to add some national flavour.
A Spyker was exhibited at last year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in CA but it is widely seen at various autoshows all over Europe. It seems the company will participate at this years' LeMans race.
Check Autoindex (http://www.autoindex.org) for more pix.

Like so many, I was first introduced to the name watching old movies on TV. The film "Genevieve" from 1953 about the London-to-Brighton Run for antique cars featured one.

I always watch TV programmes and films on cars, even then, so I probably saw that.... So long ago... :)
