Brake Chatter

2007 Sonata Limited with 3.3 liter V6. Only 1000 miles on her, but when I brake hard (not panic or emergency) I feel a sort of chatter through the brake pedal. This does not feel like ABS engaging or warped rotors, more like funky tires (Michelin 55 series low profile, 17"). I will take it to the dealer soon, but wondered if anyone had this occur on a 2006 or 2007. I have two cars with ABS and this does not feel like what I feel when ABS engages on these cars.

Follow up. all four rotors are warped and will be replaced (under warranty). As car came from NC, I wonder if Earnhart JR or Tony Stewart were testing the brakes on this machine before it came to me, Hmmmm.

Cheap parts. Don't feel bad, the same thing happens to my father's 2002 Lexus.

Not convinced they are cheap parts as these are big, thick rotors. I believe that someone fried them, either at the original dealer or the guy that brought the car up to the dealer I purchased from. I bought the car new about three weeks ago and it had 200 miles on the ODO, however, the build date was 09/06 so she had been sitting somewhere for a long time. I have had a lot of cars in my 70 years and never had a rotor warp at 200 miles (even on my dodge Neon) and she has 68,000 on the ODO.

A hot rotor into a cool rain puddle will warp your rotors
