93 Talon DL Cooling Hose/Line? Help!

Hey I'm in need of a little bit of help here.. Just to give you a little info on my situation I have a 1993 Eagle Talon DL 1.8L SOHC Motor Automatic Trans.. I picked it up for $500 , it was sitting for a year and a half in someones garage and all it needed (or so I thought) was a starter.. Well we replaced the starter and it kicked right over and runs like a top. It has 149K on it.. On the way home it developed a coolant leak.. Well a couple coolant leaks.. As I fix one, another one pops up.. Here's my problem.. There's an aluminum pipe/line for the coolant that runs from somewhere around the belts, probably to the water pump at some point, then under the exhaust manifold, and to the lower coolant hose and heater hoses.. I CAN'T find this pipe/line no matter where I look.. :banghead: No auto places seem to carry it. Does someone know where I might be able to find it and how to replace it once I do get it? If you can't tell me how to replace it, that's fine, just finding the part or at LEAST a part number would be extremely helpful at this point.. I love this little car and I want to get it up and running without any leaks. Thanks in advance!!! :)

Ok i'm dumb.. More info for you guys.. I looked under the hood again tonight and took the water pump off so I could get a better look at the situation.. It appears to me that the aluminum line i'm looking for connects directly to the short aluminum pipe that connects to the water pump.. I didn't know this earlier, because I checked with Autozone and apparently they're B/Sin' me because they say the Water pump is Timing Belt driven.. Well, it appears to me that it's not, and that it's drivin by the same Serpentine belt that drives the Alternator.. Would I be correct in assuming that? Even though I found this information out, I'm looking everywhere online at Auto Parts places and they carry only the rubber lines, not this aluminum one.. :banghead: :banghead: Someone has got to still make this thing.. I'd go to an Eagle dealer but uh.. They're out of business.. haha.. Helpppppp..

I know what you are talking about, the 4G63s have a tube like that too. Ill have to take a look at my talon tomorrow when theres day light and see where exactly it goes. I looked in my chiltons manual and i didnt see them mention it once in their diagrams, which is weird. As far as dealerships go, hit up the Mitsubishi dealer, and tell them its for a 93 eclipse 1.8. Thats where i get my dealer only parts for my talon.

I know what line you are talking about. I have a 93 dl Talon with the 1.8l outside right now I have been using as a parts car for my 93 Eclipse. I will go see if that part is able to be removed.

Hey you guys are great.. Thanks for all your help.. I finally broke down and called the local salvage yard and turns out they had a 91 Plymouth Laser with a 1.8 (Same motor) and a 1990 Eclipse with the same motor.. I pulled out the pipe, cost me like $21, but it works, and no more leaks!! :) :) :) Now I'm gonna run back there and grab the sun visors and a dome light (mine is missing that stuff, amongst other things) But thanks again guys, I appreciate the help greatly!
