vehicle starts and runs fine until engine reaches operating temp. Then rpm falls and vehicles slows down, bucks a little, then when accelerator is floored it picks back up. Check engine light comes on but if you turn the key off, engine lite stays off, until next time. Ideas??

Well sir, I am going through many problems with my dodge also. Now I guess to troubleshoot this problem we should start with some questions. Have you made any repairs lately? Like change the plug wires? Could this be the Spark Plug Wire Routing issue? There is a T.S.B. on it. I think if the wires are to close to a heat source or another electronic signal then they get confused or over heated, like me when i work on my dodge.
I am having the same problem, mine was real bad. I think the root problem caused other sensors to fault. I had to changed the TPS and the IAC (being sure to clean port that the IAC's plunger fits into) This helped out alot, though a bit pricey for just troubleshooting. But you can do a voltage check on the TPS. Mine was producing the wrong voltage.
Get a Manual for spec's or search forum, i could post if you dont find it. The IAC i dont know if it really did anything its only been in for 35 miles so thats why im here. Runs great till it hits about 100deg. Im gonna redo all the plug wire routing today printing out the TSB right now. Ill let you know what it does. Is there any more info available for a deeper analysis of your problem?
I think you might be on a different path because i get no check engine light.
have you recorded Diagnostic Trouble Codes? Turn the key as far clockwise as you can with out starting the motor. Do this 3 times, and on the third turn leave key in advanced position AKA KOEO Key On Engine Off. Light flashes, * ** one flash pause two flashes=DTC12 , It will end with
***** ***** DTC 55 (end of diagnostic) Please report Back. I get code 37 but cant really figure out what it is because the Haynes Manual I have doesnt have a DTC 37 for my year (95) and nothing shows up on my OBD Scanner. whew Long Post Sorry...
