A couple weeks ago I posted in this forum about an Idle problem... I read a lot on VFaq like I was recommended to do, and I learned a lot BTW thanks
I cleaned the throttle body, put a new O ring on the idle screw, and tested the ISC and and am still having the same Idle problem :(

About 4 weeks ago I had the Cam Sensor replaced in my 96 Eclipse GSX because it was badly damaged and was causing the car not to start. The new one seemed to work fine until a week later the car started misfiring badly and it seems that the misfire and idle problems are related directly. The idle problem only starts occuring when the car misfires. I could never get the CEL to come on until yesterday, I had a computer ran on it and it said it was the Cam Sensor... So I took it back to the dealership that replaced the cam sensor, the CEL went off, and they ran tests on it and couldn't find any problems with the cam sensor...

Right now I don't have any ideas left, so anything you guys can throw at me would be a step in the right direction. Thanks again in advance guys :)

if they replaced a cam sensor and the car runs but idles weird then i would inspect the TPS, a common problem it seems.

Thanks, I'll definitely look into that. Can the TPS cause misfires though? Because I'm 95% sure the misfire issue is directly related to the idle problem considering they never act up separate. If it's misfiring, its idling bad, and vice versa. If it is not misfiring, it idles fine, etc.
