I'm finally getting something done...!

Ok here in Augusta, GA a guy thats great at motor swaps Tommy Duncan....anyways he says he can safely convert my 88 hb to rhd all for 4500...thats w/the b16 and front bodywork. He is eager to do it and is going to do it in their own rex for dragracing, then mine. Its gonna be sweet and everybody says im stupid but screw them...he said it can be safely done by cutting the a t shape out of the firewall and then switching them. I know he is qualified at it so im getting excited

no rhd is as safe as it is stock, but to hell with it, rhd is so sweet! plus u get a b16 an everything! good deal, almost tgtbt

yeah thats with a running b16 powered rhd 88 hatch! he also said if i want any parts put on it he'll go ahead and do it at no labor cost. I will probably try and work on his rex with him to kinda see just how much im getting into. If I didnt do the rhd the b16 swap is 3600-3800 so you see why i will just go ahead w/the rhd thing. I'll keep yall updated. Also tonight Im taking some pics of my car so I'll try and get them up this weekend.:dogpile:

glass top? man, that would be sick as hell!!! but it would only look good on a crx, because on a civic it would look wierd! because on a crx it would flow with the front and back windshield.......

RHD would be so nice, but it sounds complicated. but if you think this guy can do it then i would go for it, cause that would be tight. then you get really dark window tint and roll up to people at traffic lights and then roll your windows down. you'd get some funny looks.

Hey yall. anyways i'm probably still gonna, but does anyone know anyone that knows a guy that know someone that has done this before? ive seen some rex's with it, but no hatches yet. dont really matter if rex or hatch, but if i could talk to someone bout it it help....ya know? ill put some pics an videos up tomorrow!

No just think how many cops will pull me over to check the vin and stuff! I'm savin my pennies now! im funny,know the bank will be my buddy w/a loan. BUT it will be worth it. now for the altezzas....jk those suck

I could try but you are probably better off going through the States to get it now. Moppie used to do a bit of exporting and tracking down 4g bits for people, but our supplies are drying up!
