electrical issue, battery warning light

my battery warning light comes on when I start my car up. I just replaced the alternator about a month ago. the light seems to flicker at idle and gets bright when I rev the motor. Is it just a loose wire/ bad wire, or do you guys think it is a bad alternator??

It sounds to me like you have a voltage regulator problem and it's putting out too much power. I had the same problem with my altenator even though it too had just been replaced.
