Beautiful clean work and photography. Now, cross your heart and hope to die, was there any photoshopping involved here? :) (j/k)

Thank you Steven. I have used MP4 red by Finisher's (a set of 3 bottles, including foundation white, MP4 red and florescent pink)

btw, I have seem in AF that you have made MP4/5B as well and I have a question on the fitting on the MP4/5B. Do you have any pictures on your MP4/5B showing that the cowl fitting with the monoque.

I have cut the front wing as well and I found that a big gap present in between. Thanks :iceslolan

I used the same Finishers paints on my McLaren MP4/5B.They are very good paints.Regarding the pictures showing the cowl fitting onto the monocoque.I haven't any because the cowl did not fit onto the monocoque due to all the wires and stuff I added to the engine and side pods. The gap at the nose to main cowling join should be easy to take care of though.Fit a small piece of plastic card to the part where you sawed through the joint and file it to shape. This will replace the plastic you removed when you made the cut.

I have checked the monocoque and I found that, unlike MP4/4 which the front nose is lying flat to the surface. For MP4/5B, the front nose is slightly higher and once it is glue to the base plate, the gap will going down and close up.

I have cut under the front nose a bit
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a295/mikusen/Mclaren%20MP4%205B/IMG_7045-1.jpg
and now the gap getting closer

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a295/mikusen/Mclaren%20MP4%205B/IMG_7049-1.jpg

I will use some styrene sheet which cut to strip and glue in between to form the flange on both sides.

Yes, it is Mori Mori (40g).
Everytime I just spread 10mm long from the paste and mixed with the hardener (the black bottle with orange stuff inside).

Some more update in the cockpit:-

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a295/mikusen/Mclaren%20MP4%204/IMG_7600-2.jpg

Finally got the side mirror modified since the original support is too thick.
Now using 0.4mm dia steel wire with PE rings.

Superb update, thanks for the info, I haven't 100% understand how you take 2% of hardener for a 10mm line, the thing I found is to use a squared paper with 10x5 little square (school's paper) and a square for the hardener... but I have ever approx 20 times the amount of putty you do any time LOL, and now I have the 1kg tin can...

BTW: once a time, quite nice job!

Where did you source the newer AP brakes with looks like seperate calipers?
