Hi to all AF. I am actually searching for pict on HKS Altezza. The racing version. I need some pict inside the car,
Interior: Dashboard, rollcage, computers, seat and harness.
Exterior: Rear view (detail shot), both side view, top, underside (diffuser), Front (detail shot), engine.

If anyone have any these picture, could you please email to me at :
[email protected]
Thanks.

Reason I need to have these pict is I am building one, but doesn't have interior pict, so have stop. My Altezza engine coming in, so have to start work.

I do remember a site call overboost.com, they have a show in State, do have a pict with open hood. Wondering is there anyone went to that show and took some photos on that HKS Altezza?

As for all modelers in Singapore, if some of your parts from Fujimi kits screw up, now you can reorder that part again throught R Tunedin' hobby shop. We give that service to all. If you are not in Singapore, then it's kind the hard. Maybe mediamix could help the oversea guys.:bloated:

Holy crap that's a nice car! I think a good start would be the Altezza kit and the Taniya Opel, the front end looks similar to me...

I look forward to see progress pics of this one:D

I bet if tamiya made this kit it would come with a already carbon fiber looking plastic body, that way theres no need to paint it.

I seem to remember them doing a 1:10 RC shell out of carbon-effect Lexan. It looked killer...

Thanks to all the helps that site really help me alot. I try to finish it by the end of June 2003. The carbon Fiber is the toughest of all. Very expensive. Going to use BBR carbon fiber and kelver. The body is 90% finished, too bad, I don;t have a digi cam, if not I could show to everyone.
Once again thank you for the greatest help all of you given to me. Thanks.

Is yours based on the Fujimi 1/24 kit? If so did you shorten the wheelbase at all? I cant work out if its shorter or not, I know is 2 door instead of 4.

HAs anyone ever seen it in real life? my dad was literary staring at it for ten minutes, he loves road racing, he road races a green crx in an unlimeted class, he wants to make a model of his own car after seeing all my cars, he said when I make an order form hlj, get a crx too, anyways, the altezza, it's better in real life than in the pics, the whole body is carbon fiber, and in person, it looks very nice, but the body is all flat color, it's not shiny, but it's still nice, no, NOT NICE, IT'S CRAZY

I'm pretty hardcore on engine details, but this nightmare would keep me up at night!!!

integra818
11-03-2002, 02:38 AM
It's not just the detail, you have to do ALOT of custom work too, for instance, the engine has been moved back, so if you wanna make this car , youre gonna have to figure out how to do that, and the suspension in mounted longitudinal, instead of the normal latitudinal suspension position., ALOT of work... I"ll be amazed if someone can pull this one off

Ill pay somebody $50 if they can do it, to every little detail. (and when I say every, I mean EVERY) lol, the $50 might pay for half of the cost of building it :finger:

Although ambitious, it wouldn't be the hardest custom job I could think of... Actually, it would be mostly tubing, a couple of custom RTV molds, and some aluminum sheet work if there is a kit out there with a somewhat accurate basic engine (maybe a Supra??) Is there?

integra818
11-03-2002, 02:54 AM
The tamiya jgtc supra is curbside, How long would it take you to custom makle this? Well If you mix a supra model with an engine, an altezza,a jgtc supra,a f1 model, I think it can be done!

To do this Altezza is my dream. I have done most of the custom body kit, but nothing can beat a HKS Altezza. Th ebody finishing is already 90% done, only waiting for the decal to be print out and waiting for the BBR carbon fiber decals to arrive to my doorstep.
Why I'm such craze to do this project, I want to break throught my limit. I want to challenge myself to see where is my Limit
The body: if you are using a Fujimi Altezza RS200, basically, only 50% of the body are needed. The front spoiler and the wide body, only by scratch.
The axle and backseat had to scrape. Make a new set, rollcage had to build by ownself. The wheels had to use Aoshima Advan TCII rim set, you can't used stock, some modify have to done.
The seat and diffuser had done up already, waiting for more pictures to do the interior.
I know it sound crazy, and some might say I will fail. But if you don't try and how do you know you can't. Trying is no harm. At least you know where you stand.

By the way, now building a 'Hotwheels' 360 Modena Challenge '00, the interior is about 20% done. Not enough carbon fiber decal...:(

Damn, how did I miss this one.

Actually, the body proportions seem to be correct as far as length goes, at least when I look at mine compared to a side view of the actual car, but the top is definitly chopped and the hood line is lower.

I haven't made too much progress on mine lately, hence, no updated picturs in my sig. This definitly give me some motivation to pull it off the shelf and get to work again. The top shouldn't be too hard to chop, but I think I will have a lot harder time with the hood, considering the progress already done on the front.

Hey Chris, those TC II's done yet ? Convert to center locks, and I'll be in business :)

That was 2years ago built, and was my very 1st bodykit :eek7: ...but the project was trash because I found that it was completely wrong. I will do it again, but not that soon. Since FOTW will be selling this as a full kit, I think I rather buy it from him. I'm really surprise to see this thread again...  maybe you may want to check the rest like BugZilla version is the correct one.

As for the TRB-02, yes plan to do 1 for my own collection, but it seems like the stream Z...both were crash. Now as you can see my signature, I was building those plus lots of JGTC, VIP and MPV cars bodies + bodykit.

In a nutshell, slap it on and start shaping before it hardens too much. Then, a fair amount of sanding. I use Milliput, really like it since it sticks well and is easy to mold, but I just got some Tamiya that I want to try out.

Still working on the Vielside Evo VI, if I can quit dropping and stepping on it, I might get somewhere, but the VIII is on my list as well.

BTW rtuned, love the GT300's in your sig. I am trying to do a skin graft on the '03 Fujimi with the Tamiya kit to make the roof and trunk right, eventually turn it into the Cusco GT300.
