my 93 sierra runs but when iI kill it it doesn't start for a couple of hours during that time the fuel pump doesn' work, removed tank and checked it, it works, installed new fuel pump relay. could it be my electronic control module everything else checks out . am i missing something?

Welcome to AF, do you have 12v and ground to the fuel pump, does it prime start then die. I don't understand "when I kill it it won't start for a couple of hours" make this clearer, how long does it run when it does start? Does this mean you shut it off, or it stalls?

sorry I Didn't explain well, after I shut it off it would not start for several hours I tried priming it but it would only run for a few seconds however it will start and run after sitting for a while. I checked the ground it was ok.
