Hey guys
whats best to use? Round or flat files?
i'm going to order some files from japan, but can't decide which, and i don't want to order both since i don't think i'll need so many!!
So my choices are Hasegawa "Standard Type" Flat files
or Hasegawa "Professional Type" Round files.
so which is used more often?

Hmmm....actually, I would recommend you get both, because if you are doing body mods you will find you want both.
I have a set of 5 that includes round, flat, triangular, half-round and square, and I use them all, and I don't even do a lot of body work.
If you can find a set with both, I think you will be better off getting that.

I use both, got a cheap set from a local hardware shop years ago and I'm still using them to this day...

Get a full set at a hobby shop or from Micro Mark online. I use flat, round, triangular and oval all about equally, one style just isn't enough. Riffler files that are curved are the most useful, and a single flat file is very useful as well.

I can guarantee you will need bothe types. I have flat, round and half round files and they do just about everything i need. If you want to save yourself a little cash then just go for the round and half round types as the latter has a flat side to it anyway.
