Oil Level

After doing an engine flush with an oil change a few days ago the RED OIL CAN indicator comes on whenever I step on the brake or when I am at a full stop. My oil level light will also come on a few seconds after I start the engine. What could this be and how can I fix these issues?

...of checked your profile to identify car year.....
indeed '98 has an oil level alarm in addition to pressure indicator...I would guess adding a quart may help if this happened just after the oil fill.
