How do you adjust the TPS switch? Mine is crazy. Good in the morning while it is cool but sticks when the outdoor temp is hot. Engine races and shifts up and down in and out of over drive.:smokin:

How do you know this is the problem?

It's happened in the past and had it replaced. They installed one from autozone and I heard that these cheap ones don't last long. Delco is best and I don't want to pay some else to do it. I think I can but ,:smokin: need to know what wire's to hook voltmeter to.

Like Max said, how do you know the TPS is the problem? If you want to check the TPS, probe the light grey wire (LG) with a volt meter with the ignition on. (the engine does not need to be running). You should see a 5.0v reference signal on that wire from the PCM. If that checks ok, move the lead to the blue wire (B). The blue wire is where you should measure variable voltage ranging from .45 @ a closed throttle body position, to around 4.0v to 4.7v @ WOT. The voltage increase should be smooth and linear with the opening of the throttle body. Now if this checks out, you need to check the voltage reading with a scanner to see if the PCM interprets the same readings as the DVOM. If not, you could have a high or low voltage signal problem within the PCM. Several things could cause this, however, we need to know what you find with these test before going further.
