I look at my olds every day and wonder if i can just drop the front end a couple inches instead of having the front end 6 inches off the ground making it look more of a nonno car. I was wondering if done properly if i can cut the front springs a couple inches without having any problems in the future. also will the tires rub? Do you think this would be a good idea? if not what would be a second solution to this idea i have in mind? shoot me your feedback

Anything is possible. I will do it the easier way by installing 18" or 20" rims and supper low profile tires.

get the springs off a later Intrigue or buy new ones. You want stiffer and shorter ones. If you cut down a larger soft spring it will still be soft = now you will have a bottoming out issue.
Some Intrigues sit lower than others = my 2000 sits lower and is much stiffer than my Dad's 1999. My car was also a rental car originally = maybe the rentals had stiffer springs. Maybe try another W-body car like a 4door GP?
