Vacuum question

My boost gauge reads 23 psi vacuum at idle. But it reads 26 psi vacuuum when I shift gears while rolling. Is this what it should be at? I was just wondering. My cars got me confused so I'm just checking everything.

That sounds just like where my boost gauge readings are at idle. If i push the clutch in while cruising at 35 or so my vacuum will be maxed out on the gauge which is 30
