I'm looking for a good set of tyres for racing and track. I'm currently considering the Toyo Proxies, but I've heard they don't last very long. Any good suggestions?

What are you wanting, drag slicks, drag radials or street tire? Drag slicks not DOT aproved, drag radials DOT aproved, not as good traction as slicks, but much better then street tires, last less then 15k miles. It depends on what kind of driving you do and how much you want to spend as well as what kind of racing, drag racing or track racing you do. But as far as a bit of drag racing I have been happy with my Nitto 555 zr. Decent traction and last for a long time if you do a lot of driving. And they are a decently priced.

If this is the car you drive around town:
Bridgestone Potenza S03/S02
Pirelli PZero
Dunlop Sport 900 <i think

Pirelli PZero
Bridgestone Potenza
Michellin Pilot Sport
But you can also get some cheaper ultra high performance Yokohamas.

I would go with one of these, but I am partial to the Potenzas. I had them on the Baron and they stuck pretty damn good, and they weren't even the Z rated Potenzas.
