I just got 1993 Suzuki Swift (hatch back) and there is a problem with the fan cooling the radiator, it run continuous as long as the ignition is on. At present the fan starts as soon as the ignition is switch on, its not working through the temperature sensor. How do i find this sensor and how does it operate?

Hi,
I do not know much about the Swift, but in general the cooling fan / temp sensor works about the same in any car.
Follow the wires from the fan they should lead you straight to the temp sensor which should be screwed into the back side of one of the sides of the radiator. One wire from the fan should be the ground wire and may go somewhere else.
The hot wire from the ignition should route itself through the sensor and then go to the fan. To replace the sensor you will need to drain the radiator, since you have it drained now would be a good time to replace the thermostat as well.

I can't comment specifically on the '93 but late 80's Suzuki & Chevy models have a Thermo-switch to control temp at which Fan activates ...this is located on the Hose-bib fitting that connects Radiator Hose to the Manifold ...it usually also houses the Thermostat beneath.
