thunderbird 96 turn signal/brake lights out

I have a 96 t-bird, the turn signals and brake lights both went out at the same time. Then a day later the battery dies. Now even fully charged the volts are running low on my meeter. All the fuses are fine but I can't find the flashers. However the hazard lights still work.... any ideas?

If the lights still flash when the Hazard switch is activated but you have no brake lights or turn signals then it sounds like you have a bad multi-function switch. Have the battery and alternator tested at your local AutoZone or equivalent.
