compass/temp gauge broken

Is there a fix (that I can do myself) for a broken/blank compass/temp gauge? I've looked to see if perhaps it's a fuse, but there's no listing for anything that sounds remotely like what I'm looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated--thanks.

I should add that I've already looked at what seems to be the appropriate fuse (#10).

What year is your Explorer? Is the whole display blank/dark? I would guess that is the case since you are looking at fuses.

Are you handy with a multimeter? If we know what year your Explorer is, we can point you to specific wires to check for voltage. Do the interior lights on the cluster still work?
