I have a 2wd F-150 06. I want it to look like a 4x4 or tougher by just giving me a few more inches. Not spend too much money, just something to raise that sucker up. Body lift or suspension lift? I hear body lifts aren't good for your truck, is that true? I just need help making this decision and I can take it somewhere to get it done.

I Have Not Heard The Body Lifts Are Bad For Trucks, But I Personally Dont Like The Look Of Them. Just My Opinion

Check state laws too and yes there are state laws on lifted trucks. Some states go by bumper or tire heigths, etc. With the suspension lift, you have to get the truck to a front end alighnment shop or you will wear out tires quickly. With the suspension lift you screw up the camber and toe settings resulting in early tire wear.

One other thing to consider... anything and everything that is connected to the body is going to have to be extended, steering and gear linkage, wiring harnesses, fuel/brake lines, etc.
