This model is somewhat of a metamorphisis for me. I just found AF when I started this and it helped out immensely. I thought it was a great build when I finished, but as my skills improve I find many things that could be improved on. At any rate, here are some pictures. I'm going to be building the #64 LeMans version next. It's one of the best Revell has ever but out IMHO.

The color is Duplicolor School Bus Yellow enamel. No clear coat. Might be a little bit orangey. I'll take some pics next to tamiya Yellow for comparison.

Revell included CF decals for the engine. Next version I'm going to put more effort here as it really is a nice engine. Engine detail:

An artistic shot showing I forgot to put in the rear view mirror. :icon16:

And just for fun...an example of how not to do curves in PhotoShop. Looks kinda cool though.

Very nice. Interesting colour effects you are getting with your lighting setup there.

A slip of the mouse while adjusting curves. Would be great if I could modify my camera to do that all the time!

 No sorry, thought I might be misinterpreted. I was rather referring to the contrasting light and shadows in the untreated pics. I like it, may have to try something similar some time.

Whoops. That's the reason for all my posts. I'm working on properly lighting a still life. I started a thread to get opinions from other photogs on their lighting setup (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=718812). No ones actually posted their setup yet. :disappoin

I tried to take a picture showing the setup I used.

Woa, you just had to post this when I was almost complete! J/K This looks great, and I love your photography on this! Was a fun build huh.

The build was awesome. My skills weren't up to it at that time, but the next one should be better. I'm definitely using your WIP when I build the next one!

I wish hobby lobby would have the 40% coupon so I can pick this kit up again!
