you got the skills bro.
i like the contrast your getting the dark parts really make the car pop-out off of the white page
the two problems i allways had with shading/rendering in pencils was
1.) i am sooooo messy and i get fingerprints everywhere
2.) you get this kinda fuzzy shadding in the mid-tones
i found if you just use a tissue and rub it over certian areas
it blends it to a really smooth grat tone as opposed to splotchy pencil marks.
try it some time on a quick sketch i know it helped me alot! and keep up the good work :grinyes:

Thanks!
I actually tried using a tissue for that, but it was a little tricky for me as sometimes I would accidently smudge other areas as well and some parts are... well, too 'small' so I can't use the tissue. runaround
I found out that using a cotton butt (yeap.. the same ones you'd use to clean your ears :icon16:) works pretty well for small areas, though you have to replace them often and apply very steady pressure or some areas will get darker.
Regarding fingerprints... have you tried placing a piece of clean paper under the side of your hands as you work? No more fingerprints! XD

Beautiful!
You have a very nice and clean drawing style. The only thing that is not excellent up to now are the ellipses on the wheels, but I guess you will know that yourself.
Keep it up!

The Lambo looks sweet! One of the best tools I have found for wheels are the circle and eclipse makers you can buy at most art stores. They are usually green plastic and come with 15-30+ different size circles or eclipses (and different eclipse shapes) to trace...great for perfect rims and wheels every time:grinyes:

:) :grinno: The Lamborghini looks amazing! You've got what it takes to do Beatiful works! The Zonda it's also a good drawing, but i think you with that new pencils were testing it in the Zonda, the real show comes after when you know the tools you have! I am like that when i have new tools at first i test in a draw and i don´t car to much if its all ok but after them comes the show! Keep the good work! Regards!

I've was looking for those circle/eclipsde makers today at a stationary shop today, but couldn't find any. :uhoh: I'll need them soon! Thanks.

Thanks!
I've always been afraid to erase/repair any completed works because I have a tendency to make things worse when I try to make it better. runaroundAnd I'm also afraid that I will not be able to get the right tone... however this shouldn't pose that much of a problem right? Any tips you'd care to share? (:

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'm working on an Enzo Ferrari now... god that car is pretty hard to draw! BTW, does anyone know if I could edit the thread title?

if your willing to give it a go you may not need to erase at all :)
you have drawn the edge of your rim very dark on the outside and at the top where it starts to tuck into the wheel arch you have drawn the dark line thicker ,if you were to continue that line three quarters of the way around eg up to where the line for the air vent starts at the bottom of the rocker the same thickness as the top it will help alot to get the front rim more in proportion and looking rounder:)
Then with the outside of the tyre in the centre and near the rocker again come in a bit more darker and this will help the roundness of it and it should be sweet :smokin: its an awsome drawing as it is already in my opinion, its hard to explain over the internet lol
