exhaust

any one know if i have to have a different pipe coming off of the cat. cause my car has singe outlet muffler that has a center inlet and i want to put on a dual output and the imput pipe seems to be offset? i have a 91 sunbird le tbi 2.0 with a turbo auto transmission.
