are the nokya bulbs the good kind and not the cheap shit that you get at auto zone? cuz im looking at getting the 8500 nokya bulbs to replace my silverstars

Nokyas are better than Silverstars IMO, but the only real way to go is a set of McCollough HIDs....the downside is that they're $300+

Amen! Then to be completely leagal, you need projectors that will be able to with stand the heat. Not sure how good the e-bay ones are.

my GSR had factory projectors so i didnt have to mess w/ anything....i've never had any problems w/ the function of the lights or the legality of them....i live in ND, i dont think anyone really cares what happens up here :P

Lucky! We have a guy in canada who retrofits our stock housings with ones from inifiniti and does custom ones for the 00+ people... However, i cannot justify spending almost $1,000 for headlights then plus the HIDS.

www.oznium.com has awesome HID kits for under $300. I plan on getting the 8000k from them.
