I am in the market for a new (used) vehicle to tote my kids around in an drive to work. I found this '00 impreza wagon w/ 77k miles on it. Standard trans. Would this be a good buy if running nice? How long do these ussually last? Would yall recommend these cars?
Thanks

Highly recommend them, I took my '98 Impreza to 100,000 miles before I sold it and it was running as good as the day I got it. I've heard of Imprezas going into the 200k mile range with minimal issues (minimal being standard vehicle wear issues.)

If the price is right and the car is running well, I say you should go for it.

You can pretty much bet, as my mom will tell you, that anything Japanese is a good buy in the long-term. They are reliable, durable, and qualitly all-around. Sounds like a good choice for someone who needs a lot of space/seating and reliability, but doesen't want to comprimise performance or drive a blimp minivan. An AWD wagon is the way to go my friend.
