when i have kids, i'll start to teach em martial arts as soon as I can; that way, they know that I can and will beat their ass if they don't listen to me.

It's true that many forms of video games are outlets for escaping the real world, BUT they are also games, designed to play and have fun.
If anything, the biggest thing there would be to worry about is when people who play Wow or Everquest or even Halo start treating the real world the way they play the game...which may never ever happen, period. You would have to be crazy to begin with to believe everything in video games.
