1988 grand prix starting problem

Hey.I just fixed up a car that was just sitting in my yard for about 9 yeras a week or two ago.I had it running and moving and everything.But today I go to start it and turn the key and absolutely nothing happens.I dont think it is the battery because I just changed it and stuff like the windows and radio work fine.Any ideas?

Cars that sit can be plagued with all kinds of gremlins. (mouse chewed wires, corrosion, The first thing I would do is get a 12v test light or volt meter and see if you have power at the purple wire on the solenoid when the key is turned to the start position. If you do, then it could be a starter, bad/dirty battery cables, or you have a battery that is capable of delivering low amp current (for the lights, radio, etc...) but not the high amp current necessary to turn over the starter.. If you don't, then it could be mouse chewed wires, a bad neutral safety switch, etc...
