Well I will be ordering Glow Gauges within a few days, leaves me questioning for help here. To install, do I leave the current black faces on there? Can I pull the needles off to install it, and what is the best way to wire it, what power source, and ground. I don't want to end up having non working Glow Gauges in a few months time. And any otehr suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

Since no one else is answering, I'm just guessing but, I'd say you have to remove the black faces and apply the white. DO NOT remove the needles...I think that could be bad. As for wiring idk, idk what the set up is.

If I remember correctally on the 2000+ it is a BIG NO NO to remove the needles because of some little pin or some BS, basically if the pin flys out you are off to the junk yard to buy another gauge cluster, I have read that you put them on without removing the needles, they are made to slide right over.
If they don't suit you, later on you can also check out http://www.blackcatcustom.com/ they sell a 140 mph conversion and you can have the face made any way your heart desires. any color with any design. I know a guy who is using Autometer cobalt gauges and he just ordered the 140 conversion with the cluster to match the gauges.
I hope some of this if not all of this has helped you out

well you do have to take into consideration that most of black cats stuff is one off custom piece, those take awhile to make. I am not advertising for them but i make custom parts myself. it takes alil longer to make a one off piece, and takes longer to get them then a part that is mass perduced.
Sorry bout the spelling I am half asleep

I got it finally, superglued the white face to the stock black one, it was sitting too far away froom it causing resistant on the needles, so superglue got er down so the needles have free movement, when i have access to a camera I will take pics!

Why didn't you just take the black one off?

The white face is only a piece of plastic and it needs the black one in the back to hold it up straight so it wont bent or anything, i could of told you that but i was in europe the last 2 and a half weeks, hmm i wouldnt removed the needles but if u did, then o wells...
The gauge is gonna go off every time you hit a bump in about 3 months, and im fixing mine so that it doesnt go off, im gonna change the switch, hope it works...
