anyone else despise the way the trunk has been developed, i love my civic, but i hate the trunk. i cant stand that loosely placed velcro carpet shit, anyone got any suggestions to modifying it to a non-trash state?

You could always build yourself a faulse floor with MDF and vinyle it to match the interior color.

make it look crazy and do a custom fiberglass job with a nice gell coat.:silly:

That's what I'm doing with mine. it's gonna look nice when it's finished... I'll see if I can find a pic...

i hate that loose little piece of material that is just laid in the trunk, i mean WTF!!, i figure honda could've done a little better than that. i'm gonna do somethin about it but i don't know what yet.

I just take a knife and put a slit in the on the outer edge of the carpet and in the cardboard piece that sits onto of the spare and put a zip tie through the slit and pull the zip tie tight and the carpet stays nice and tight to the outer edge of the cardboard thing and dosen't move.
