windows wont go down??

my dad has a ford taurus.. i think its about 95..
but the window on the back left hand side does not go down....
what could be wrong with it?? motor? is there s motor? or just bad connection?

I'd assume he has power windows? Have someone push the button (try the one on the driver door and the one that's broken) while you listen for the motor to engage. You might have to remove the door panel so you can see what's going on. While you're in there, look for corroded connections.

i tryed it from the drivers button as well...
it does not work. i asked my dad about it and he said it probibly the motor inside thats gone wrong.
so i have another ford taurus(same year but doesnt work so i use it for spare parts.) took the motor out so now all i have to do is replace the broken one.

I wouldn't install the new motor before testing it first. Hook up the wire harness to the new motor before you take out the old one. Then see if it runs when you push the button. There might be a busted connection...Those are very common and burnt motors are not. Motors usually become very weak, they dont just STOP out of nowhere.

ok i found out what the problem is..
i took apart the motor for the windows and found out that there so much shit in it that the shaft doesnt turn...
i sprayed a shit load of wd 40 in it and still got nothing...
