2002 Roush Stage 2

Well, I wasn't able to swing the 2003 Cobra SVT. I just couldn't stomach the $5,000 over MSRP that all the dealers near me were charging. I also couldn't stomach the nearly $800/month payment!

I did however score me a 2002 Jack Roush Mustang Stage 2. MSRP on that car was $39,995, I got it for $32,000 plus tax and liscense. I would like to post a picture of it here, but do I have to have my Roush listed on the internet somewhere? I have a picture on my computer, but I don't think I can post it here. Does anyone have any ideas? :help:

Yes, go down, under options and find the segment that says, attatch file. If you have found it, push the browse button to its right. It will take you to your pictures, and you choose the picture that you would like to show. Hope this helps.

Wow,

That really sucks. lol. I am not well versed in Microsoft Paint. Well anyways, I had to erase some stuff because I got an error stating that the image was too large. Anyways, let me know what you think.

If you want to see more pics, visit my webpage at stangnet.com at this address:

What modifications are done to the 2002 Roush for Stage 1 & 2 ?

Roush stage 1 is just the body kit. Roush stage 2 is the lowering suspension, cold air induction, and the body kit, and side exhaust.

Overall, the Roush stage 2 has about 10-15 more HP than a stock GT.

But I still want more HP! lol

The Roush Rims and tires are 10 inches in the back and 9 inches in the front. My car also came with the short throw shifter for faster shifting.

I have raced a stock GT and blew it away. But a SS Camaro ate me alive! :(

That is THE best looking Mustang I have seen since 1968! I love everything about that car EVERYTHING!!! That is my dream. How much did the Stage 2 cost? Thanks for posting pics I love it!

Sorry it has taken me so long to address your post. I paid $32,995 at a local dealer. The listed MSRP was for $39,995 so I feel like I still got screwed by the dealer, but at least I made them use some lube! lol

I have to agree with you about this Mustang. When Ford released the 2001 Mustang GT's with the hood scoops they really got my attention. As I got into the market for a new sports car I started doing some research on the Mustangs.

Looking at this car is not nearly as satisfying as driving it! The Roush suspension is really hot!!!!! Cornering with little to no body roll on hairpin turns.

If I had the money I would have preferred to have gotten the Roush 360R. It has a supercharged motor that boasts a 4.3 second 0-60 time with a 1/4 mile time of 12.3 seconds @ 109 miles/hr!!! That is freaking amazing for a factory car. Plus with the racing stripes it really goes back to the roots of the Mustang.

Heres my 03 Cobra, and I bought it $500 below sticker $34,350. Also the dealer threw in an extra cobra rim and tire. Can't complain. Love this car. Will be better in Feb. though after Kenne Bell supercharger.

Wow, real nice, I'm jealous, I love the Roush's version of the stang, just wish I had that kinda cheeze. Nice color too, the Roush is my personal favorite Stang next to the 65 w/droptop.

Congrats on the S2. Look over at fnsweet.com for a good Roush discussion group. A lot of discussion about Roush's new releases and discounts!!!

I am not a Mustang fan, but I went to a car show last year where Ford had their new Roush (I guess it was a 2002 model). I climbed in that thing and I loved it. It looks racy on the outside, and the interior is beautiful with racing style seats and a great sound system. That was the first Mustang I could actually picture myself driving.

Thanks for the compliments. I do get a lot of looks when driving my car. I do have to say it is the best looking mustang yet. Roush has done a great job of converting the stock mustang to muscle machine.

I just wish I could afford the 360 R!

Will Roush offer this in a convertible model as well?
