93 sentra E won't Start

Hello everybody,
Yesterday my Sentra stopped starting. The dash lights up, and headlights work so it isn't the battery. The wires look clean. I did have a incident a week prior where if I tried to shift out of park it died. The engine doesn't crank or anything.
I read the the posts here and replaced the nuetral safety switch (I had to call around and got the only one in alaska). No luck with that. It actually started once while fiddling with the switch, but I have been unable to restart since.
I also read something about a blue relay but didn't see any mention of where this relay is. I got three in the fuse box next to the dash and some between the battery and the side. I have a chiltons manual but the thing is worthless about this.
I'm about to go outside with a multimeter and see if I can find a short, or break. Any other suggestions?

Its probably the starter relay or bad contacts on the starter itself. I'm not sure where either are located, but if you can find the starter, I'd assume that the relay is somewhere nearby.
Check nissanforums.com. Either the B13 chassis or GA16DE boards should have links to a FSM download for your car. Might be a little more useful than the chilton's, even though it's a pdf file. I'd look it up and post a picture for you, but I'm not on my computer right now.

As far as I can tell, the starter motor is under the intake manifold. Its a really bad picture.

I took the starter out because the thing was in an awkward spot to try testing. I tried jumping it with some wires but it didn't do a thing. So tommorrow I'm going to get it tested, but I guessing I got a bad solenoid. I looked into the blue relays and two of them are starter relays (next to the fuses in the cab) I can feel them click, but didn't check them with a jumper.
If the solenoid works I'll let everyone know.
As to where the starter is its in the most difficult spot to reach on the car. You can't really see it from above but you can kind of see it from below. I ended up taking off the air intake, and the bracket from below( take the top two bolts off and loosen the bottom). If you are under the car go to the midline look up and its just to the driver's side of the oil filter. I almost took the filter off as its time to change it anyways and its in just the wrong spot. One bolt is facing the passenger side and is easier to get from below(it's obvious from that angle, but hard to get from above) the other bolt is grounding a wire on the driver side, and goes through the engine into the starter.

I've got a similar problem.
I have a '93 Nissan Sentra XE.
I recently replaced the sparkplugs, put in new oil, oil filter. New cap and rotor, new fuel filter, new air filter.
My car had been shuddering upon accelleration, so I was trying to figure out what was going on. I decided to put injector cleaner into my tank at half full.
Everything seemed to be going better, it did lug for a bit once, but it stopped and I figured it was a glob of the cleaner going through my system because I hadn't filled up my tank after putting it in.
The next day I drove it at 3/4 tank to the gas station and filled it up, then for some reason it just wouldn't start.
Not sure what happened, so I checked the filters. I think my fuel injectors might be clogged or something, but I'm going to check my computer.

MetaEnder,
Mine shouldn't be fuel problem as it doesn't turn over at all. But when it did start it always ran fine. A fuel problem (like a lack of fuel) would just let the car crank but nothing would happen. If the fuel line was partially clogged but fuel still getting through the engine just wouldn't be getting compression. Too much fuel would give off alot of smoke.
I used to have a friend that was a really good mechanic and he recommended SeaFoam to me. Thats the cleaner I use (2/3 the can into the vacuum system and 1/3 into the tank). I still have a dodge stratus with a fuel problem though. I think that cars problem is a relay or a sensor though.
If you get it started I'd be interested in how you solved it.
Good Luck

We're looking at the fuel pump. So far that's what it's looking like. Just crapped out on me. Estimated $400 with part and labor. Ewe. Gonna run some tests to make sure it's not something else though first.
