please please help! no dash lights!

i have a '00 4runner limited. i realized i had no dash lights last night. i got stopped at a road block and got a warning for not having all my lights! all the lights that are adjustable with the circle knob on the dash wont come on at all. im going out of town tomorrow for a few days. if it sounds like a fuse, which one? please help me. THANKS!!

If your hi beam light works and the ebrake light and your signal lights work then I doubt it's a fuse. I know on my 4Runner there are two bulbs in the back of the speedo panel that control the "dash lights" You have to take the dash unit out, pull out the two sensor plugs and the speedo cable. replace the bulbs and put it back together. Not a big job, a bit time consuming is all. I think there is about 12 bulbs or so in the dash unit. Check at any automotive store for sizes for your model

my hi beams and brakes work fine...if its not a fuse what would cause this? your saying the next step...replace all bulbs?

i found out it was actually my tail lights(on when lights are on) its just a blown fuse under the hood
