The power window on my 2002 Grand Caravan will not roll down. All of the other windows do work. How do I go about troubleshooting and repairing this issue?:banghead: There is a regulator, a motor and the power window switches. It is very hot in Oklahoma and I wish to have this issue resolved ASAP. I would appreciate any help.
Much Thanks,

If the power windows are at all similar to the 3rd generation vans (1996-2000), it's dead easy - Disconnect the power window switch, check your wiring diagram, and apply power to the wires that need to be connected to roll down the window*. If still no joy, then it's most likely not the switch.
Next, remove the door panel and watershield. At this point you can remove the connector from the power window motor and run power directly to it to see if it turns or not. Or frayed cables will tell you the regulator needs to be replaced. It's really pretty easy to diagnose once you get behind the door panel.
*If you use a DC power supply instead of a car battery, make sure it has at least a 1 amp capacity (pretty common) - even so, it probably won't be capable of rolling the window back up again without more current capacity.

Solution:
I carefully removed the power switch array by gently prying on the switch fascia.
There is an orange lock clip. Gently push it to the left and then squeeze the green tab and remove the switch panel module array.
Then push the wiring harness end into the door.
Remove the three screws (door handle pull-door handle grasp and the panel screw located at the bottom of the panel.
(Note*-the right tool is important here. Working with a screwdriver or putty knife will cause damage. Use a prying body tool being that the body clips are up and inside approximately three inches. Prying the panel without the appropriate tool will scratch the finish and could possibly crack the door panel)
Place a box under the door where you can rest the door panel on while you are disconnecting the power lock and door pull mechanism.
Working from left to right, begin to pry the panel up. Once all of the clips have been disconnected (note-you will break many of them-easy to replace from dealership-do not focus on the broken clips), lift up and rest door on the panel.
Disconnect the power door lead and then detach the pull rod from the door panel. A photo of how to do this is in the Haynes manual (very easy). Now set the door panel aside.
Working from the top right corner, begin peeling the water protection cover to the left.
You may not have to remove the entire cover. I removed the cover just to expose the regulator and the motor.
I took my Blue-Point 8oz peen and tapped on the regulator and the window immediately began working. Apparently, I have a dead spot on the armature. Reverse the order to re-install.
