What do you guys think?

So I was at the local junk yard and noticed a 96 Talon N/T 5 speed 120k miles, sitting out front in pretty good condition. After looking her over I noticed that it would need a new paint job, spoiler attached that was sitting in the back seat for some reason, 2 new back tires (no tread), and some cleaning under the hood. Now after looking at the engine, she deffinetly needs some love because you can tell that shes been threw a few winters. Shes already got some kind of Aftermarket intake on her and I noticed that where the struts bolt on under the hood theres quite a bit of rust. What would you guys pay for a car in this condition? The guy said that he'll take 2 grand, he should go lower in the condition it's in right?
