Cluth Slips When It warms up...still!

I'm new to this forum, sorry if this question has been answered somewhere, but I've been searching for hours and can't seem to find a solution my mechanic hasn't already tried. I'm definately not mechanically inclined, so forgive my ignorance, I'm just hoping to find an answer to give my mechanic some ideas. He's the ONLY guy in my town who isn't afraid to work on a 3000gt!
My clutch went out, so we replaced it, the slave cylinder, resurfaced the flywheel and he did everything you're supposed to do in the process of replacing the clutch. But still, just as before we put in the new clutch, it slips after driving the car for awhile. Half hour or so of in city driving, and it starts slipping, and engagement gets higher and higher on the pedal. He replaced the slave cylinder again with a better quality one, the clutch feels better then it did before, but it still slips when it warms up. Everythings been replaced! Any sugggestions? Did you adjust the pedal? Do you know how to drive it? By city driving I assume you mean you stop and go a lot. If that is the case and you suck at driving you will be constantly heating up the clutch until it gets to the point it will start slipping.
You shouldn't ever have to the "slip" the clutch. You want to get the pedal out as soon as you can without raising the RPM's much if at all. Then accelerate after you get the clutch out. Only use the clutch to get the car rolling. You shouldn't see over 1000rpm until after you get the clutch all the way out.

I started thinking the same thing after reading it. If you overheated it too bad and didnt get it broke in properly then you probly have a nice glaze on the flywheel/clutch assembly.

I'd bet you anything he resurfaced the flywheel wrong. VERY tight clearances for how far off you can be. Had this problem through 3 clutches when I had the SL and 1 with the VR4 before I figured it out. Buy a new flywheel, they're less than $50 at AutoZone. Engagement issue sounds like there's probably air in the line.

Someting came to mind only because I am experiencing my own issue right now. Was the release bearing replaced along with the clutch? Does it make any noises? Basically mine is freezing up and if I try to hold the clutch in it will actually start smoking the clutch while I sit there because it isnt being released all the way.

sorry.. I reread this.. my earlyer statment is not relivent.. I agree with the flywheel not being resurfaced correct
