oil level sender connector

Hi all,

I am completely stumped :banghead: about how to remove the oil level sensor wires. I need to do this in order to remove the starter motor on a '95 Cavalier. I could simply cut them, but geee, that connector has to come apart somehow ...... I sure don't seem to be able to do so.
