2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse EGR code

I have a 2001 Eclipse GT Spyder with a 3.0L V6 and auto. I recently installed a full K+N cold air intake system. This car has run perfectly for 4 years. Two weeks after the install my EGR valve codes. Seems like more than coinsidence. What's up?

Totally wrong section son. Read the years. This thread will get moved in a few.
However since I'm already here, the two aren't tied in at all. EGR has nothing to do with a cold air intake. Check to see if maybe you knocked a wire or hose out from the EGR valve/solenoid. And exactly what codes are we talking about? Seems to start a sentence and not finish.

what egr code is it throwing? if you know what egr code it is throwing, you can troubleshoot it by typing in the code on google.com
Also, did you unplug your battery when you did the install?
