Im looking at buying this video card

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102410

but Im unable to find the required power supply amount. My computer has a 295w supply and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this card or possibly finding another card thats comparable to this one. Im also running pentium 4, 1gig of ram, and the card type is agp.

Thanks

Are you sure your PS won't run that? I wouldn't imagine it eats that much power and there is no requirement that I could tell in newegg's specs.

You should be OK, unless you have several hard drive/optical drives.

Scroll down the Underpowered Upgrades on the page, there's a few charts to help ya find general wattages.

Check this out, crunch some numbers, should give you an idea if your PSU is still enough for what you generally need.

That link is one of a few you find around, it can lead you to other links around Google.

Actually, getting estimate of your general draws from the PSU might be more than you think. You may find your current PSU doesn't have the support for what you might have.

My example, several upgrades within short period. Their performance good, but I thought should be better. I was at 200W, though, you above that. I picked up a 500W, pleased at the increase [for me, at least]

Well, I bought the computer all ready put together from sony, so I think if the video card is similiar in power to what just went bad, I should be fine.

Well, the card works fine, and I noticed on my old car, there was a spot I had to plug in a cord that this one doesnt have. The cord has a horizontal 4 prong connector which Im assuming is connected to my power supply. Anyone have any insight on this? Other then that, everything is working great. Thanks for the responses.
