Release for Gas Cover not working

Hi,

Is there a manual release in the civic for the gas cover? The release by the seat is not working.

In the trunk pull up the carpet on the left side you'll see a release..Should be about a 40$ part from Honda.

I have thought about getting one of "fuel door fix" kits. (they have a website) Just in case mine breaks. Seems like a simple fix if it works
