running extremely rich

When i drive my car pretty hard i can smell my gas being burnt as if i had and exhaust leak with a tube directly goin into my nose (its that bad lol)

Im guessing the 02 sensor could be bad and if it is bad how much do they cost? and how hard are they to put in?

If you are running rich, would u get bad gas mileage and performance?

Have you ever changed your fuel filter?

If your running rich, your car might be running really sluggish at low RPM, and you would be getting bad gas mileage.

never changed it before. how do you change the fuel filter?

Its really easy, on the firewall is a small black cylinder with 2 hoses going into it. Thats the filter. Simply clamp off those gas lines with locking pliars (so gas doesn't pour out) and undo those bolts. When you install it just make sure you torque it down right or else gas will pour out. To test it just turn on the ignition so the fuel pump comes on but not the engine that way there is no spark, and no chance of BOOM!
