GSR console (56k beware)

Here are some pictures.. I am still working on the fitting... The only down side to this mod is the difference in the consoles texture compared to the OEM upper console's texture... It looks kind of odd. Also be sure to note the nice looking kick panels :).

how are the kick pods fitting now?

Can you use your Deadpedal with the kickpods? or do they come in the way?

I cannot use the dead pedal. the speaker pods are slightly in the way. It takes some getting use to but isnt a big deal

I've got the same kickpanels and they do get in the way of the dead pedal..... plus I constantly have to remind my friends to be careful and not put their foot through a speaker on the passenger side

I got them for $130 shipped with components already installed. I got that great deal from Spy45. They work really well. But if you are huge like melt then u won't have enough room.

Yes the console was fairly easy to install there is nothing that is hard to do some things just take time. Take time to fit it correctly. I fixed the gaps tonight and make the console look more uniform with my upper OEM console. I really like how it looks with the exception that the textures do not completly match ;\. I wanted to swap in a whole integra dash..... A full GSR dash just went for $140 on ebay, I should have bought it but I bet the shipping is really bad. Plus I don't think it is really worth my money at this time I have other things on my car that need to get done. To address the question about the kick panels. My dad who is about 6'2 complains about them getting in the way, so I don't know how to honestly answer your question. It just effects where u put you left foot, if you have a manual the speakers won't get in the way for city driving but for long rides when you aren't constantly pushing the clutch pedal then they might..... I am kind of tempted to put my money in a 5th gen hatch with the LS VTEC swap..... I have seen them going on ebay with almost nothing done to the exterior for about 6 grand.... :eek: But I love my hatch to much to ditch it......

Personally I kind of like the look of the auto tranny in the gsr console, but I imagine that if auto tranny was slow as hell on my friends 96 DX coupe, it probably is pretty bad on a 4g also.

Those kickpanels look really good though. :up: :D :cool:

yeah i had those kicks i am 6'2 and they get in the way sometimes and you worry abotu kicking them alot i just got my new setup and put eclipse point source speakers in the doors and it sounds just fine so i dunno it's all preference
