Emergency brake

My 2001 3500 has a manual transmission. The emergency brake dosent work at all the pedel goes to the floor and locks down but the truck will still roll unless it is on level ground. Can it be adjusted? How can I fix it?runaround

Come on!!! Don,t anybody know anything about emergency brakes? Somebody help me out here.

Do your brakes work?
If so is the E-Brake or ABS light going off? If so it could be the sensor / ABS unit.
If not check the cables - - they end in the brake drum; there is an adjuster there that can get off. There is also an adjustment mid-frame
Here are some manuals for the Ram http://www.hemitruckclub.com/ <- it might be a hemi site but the manuals are pretty much the same. Not seeing a '01 though. But might get you in the right ball park.
