Insurance!!!!

insurance in canada really blows. Im 16 and bought a civic. When i checked out what the insurance is gonna be...... They told me from 3500 to 4500 per year!!! THIS BLOWS.

mines 2100 a year with no collision, I just pay a deductable if anything happens

how old r u? If ur over 25 it dropps to like 1200

I've had the car since I was 16(sept 2001), I turned 17 last feb, had the car over a year now

Ahh gotta love Canada. Here in Saskatchewan I have to pay only $986 or so for my 86 300zx to be lisenced and insured. I wonder how much a CRX would cost..? Never wondered about that till now :confused:

Its sweet today on my way to school i got a flat tire, my car just keeps getting worse...damn i gotta sell this thing, I need a Honda! :D

if i liked four doors id get one and save a bunch on insuarance!! But hey what can u do about hatch love!!!

I don't think you would want to live where I do..I live in a hole in the earth! We sacrifice things to do and local fun for cheaper vehicle insurance :rolleyes: .

Sucks to be a young male with a sports car. Women have some low ass insurance!

I pay $2400 a year for insurance for the CRX, and believe it or not, I paid the same amount for my Delorean!!! It sucks being 17, I wish insurance was free.:D

it's so stupid how girls get lower car insurance when like 75% of all girls can't drive for crap(of course excluding all females on this forum :D ). but i guess boys do a lot of dumb shit though.

The way my dad said it, boys cause accidents that they are involved in, but girls cause other people to be in accidents.

And for the record, I pay $75 monthly for full coverage on a 1994 G20 (20yr old female), with a $500 deductible, on my own insurance. I have gotten one ticket only, 10-over, and it was 23 months ago. I have been in 2 collisions, both unavoidable by me and caused by other folks. My 18yr old brother, riding on my parents' insurance, no tickets or accidents, pays the same amount for liability only on a 1969 Ford truck. My 20yr old female cousin, who has MANY tickets, pays $450 monthly on a 2001 Honda Civic. And she STILL drives 25 over the limit ALL THE TIME.

So your not the only one in here with crazy insurance rates.

jeff whos ur insurance, I should be paying 2400 like you through state farm but I got a good driver/student discount :)

huh well there aint muich to do around here other than go down the pub lol .... thats about it till me and my mate find a garage hehe then we shall have somthing to do :) ... cos cops dont like us driving around hehe to much hehe so we can just drive around all the time ... the UK is like living in a police state not much freedom when it come to young peopel driving around :( .. but i guess people in france get it the worst ... they cant even modify there engines lol


i would do anything for cheaper car insurance hehe :) well maybe not anything but most things hehe :)

I pay $95 a month for full coverage on 2 cars 4 me & my wife.

I pay $850 every 6 months for full coverage on two cars, and liability on two. :D

Insurance is $121 a month for me.... This includes collision and all other concievable options (I also got in a small wreck awhile back). So your insurance company must be giving it to u in the ass with those rates.

damn i guess i dont have it so bad...i pay 395 a month for full coverage 500 deductible if ne thing happens that is my fulat covers ne thing stolen of my car , and covers me if im on the drag strip and i crash and this is on my 95 ex when i had the 91 hatchie it was like 320 every 6 months and im only 18 with 2 claims against me one drops off in a couple months tho it was a while back. and i go thru farmers they seem to be the cheapest for someone under 25 at least where i live.

hey at least we dont all drive 4x4's! Those things are Hogs on insurance and gas!!
