96 Eclipse Vs. 2002 Eclipse

I honestly prefer the old eclipse simply because i think they had a little bit more style then the new ones do, sure the new ones look good, but not as good as the 96 models in my opinion. what does everyone else, think, i know its kinda lame of me to choose one over the other because of style, but oh well, im stupid.

i wouldn't call yourself stupid. i agree with you. the older eclipses are better performance cars than the 02's in every sense of the word. i'm not impressed by the new ones at all. and i think the old ones look better. that's my opinion.

The new one's are great cars for what they are. Mitubishi made a huge mistake naming them Eclipses. Everyone always compares them to DSMs. Taken on their own, their as good as any sports coupe :)
