Anyone running an H22A with their stock 5-speed? What kind of acceleration and top speed are you getting? Planning on doing the motor swap with the stock transmission and a stage II clutch. Any pointers?

I dunno man, sounds like a bad idea...You might want to just use the H22 tranny. The H22 will be putting a lot of stress on that transmission. Cause you know that you are gonna be doing more stuff to your car and putting more than 200hp to the ground, you might just use the stronger H22 tranny and maybe get a meaner clutch...heh...but if you want to use the stock tranny, I have a stage three clutch that'll fit, I used it for about a year...

it would be cool!! its just that h22 has a closer gear ratio (shorter gears) accord trannys have longer gear ratio!! accord tranny is good for turbo and h22 tranny is good for all motor!! it wont mess nothing up!! my friend has a h22 in a 95 and hes using the stock f22 (accord) tranny and hes hitting low 14's down the strip on a four door!! so i guess it doesnt really matter much on what kind of tranny you use!!
